English Staffordshire pearlware pitcher by Chetham & Woolley, 1820-30
About the Item
English Staffordshire cider jug with pearlware glaze with light blue band with applied grape vine springs encircling the standing rim between the spout & applied handle. Below below the rim and the reeded shoulder is another light blue enamel band with applied springs of putti and under the spout, a classical urn with flanking floral scrolls. Below is a reeded band encircling the base of the pitcher.
