English stoneware hunt jug by Chetham & Woolley, c. 1793-1821

About the Item

Feldspathic stoneware hunt jug with applied handle. The hunt scene relief rests on a ground of blue enamel. The neck of the pitcher has a gilt trailing decoration in the Classical taste, also on a blue enamel ground. Attributed to Chetham & Woolley. Staffordshire, England, 1793-1821.
