Antique Ornate German 800 Silver Creamer & Sugar Set by J. Riemann

About the Item

A highly ornate German solid silver creamer and sugar set by J. Riemann with repoussé decoration throughout. Perfect for a small tea or coffee service (and of course the cabinet)! The central cartouches on each piece depict pastoral scenes with young lovers and are surrounded by ornate repoussé Rococo style swags and floral decoration. Marked for .800 fineness. Base stamped with German hallmarks, J. Riemann, and 800. Measurements: Creamer height 4 3/4 in. Creamer length with handle ca. 3 3/4 in. Creamer width ca. 2 5/8 in. Sugar height ca. 4 in. Sugar length with handles ca. 4 3/8 in. Sugar width ca. 3 in. Total weight ca. 336 g.
