Blue Painted Sheet Iron Pennant with White Star on Stand
About the Item
A sheet iron wavy pennant in old blue paint with a white star on both sides, mounted on an ebonized iron pole and square iron base. Probably used as a wind directional on a weathervane, dating to the early 20th century in good overall condition, with light surface rust visible, other minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Overall with stand: Approximately 73 in H x 30.5 in W on a 12 in square base. Ref:8
