Extra large, excellent condition and great design, 6-arms and 9-light chandelier. If you like Art Deco style light fixtures with a touch of Hollywood Regency, then this large and rich 1970s alabaster and bronze chandelier could be perfect for you. The combination of the white shades and the stunning, golden color coated arms are a perfect match and a real joy to look at. At the base of this chandelier is one of the largest and most beautifully designed alabaster bowl shades we have ever seen or sold. What makes this large specimen even more impressive is the inlaid, double golden lining and the geometrical engravings all around. There is perfect symmetry in this chandelier, because the six, equally stunning, smaller alabaster shades come with the exact same inlays and hand-engraved decorations. This work of lighting art is superbly balanced and all the brass and bronze elements are as good as new as well. With as many as nine (!) sockets this chandelier will bring enough light to create the perfect atmosphere in an entire dining room or any other large living space where a truly impressive light fixture is wanted. As so often is the case, this stunning chandelier looks much better in real life than in our photos. This probably unique chandelier was handcrafted by some of the best craftsmen that are available in Italy, because both the quality of the materials AND the workmanship that is required to create a chandelier like this are very hard to find. For us to have been offered the opportunity to buy this great chandelier again felt like a blessing. Also, because we are convinced that either one of our designer clients or a private buyer will soon find the perfect space for this truly impressive light fixture. Mind you, this work of beauty will arrive wired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country where it will be used and enjoyed. When purchased by one of our American clients, it will also take regular American E26 screwthread bulbs. In our photos we used a total of 420 watts, but you could use as much as 600 watts and with a dimmer you will always be able to create the perfect light for every occasion. Thanks to the hook inside the height adjustable brass canopy, mounting this grand chandelier tight to your ceiling should take no more than a few minutes. All it takes is a strong hook coming from your ceiling, because this chandelier weighs approximately 45 pounds lbs.
