Rare 19th century Gothic church altar stand with cloisonné Agnus Dei symbol in a bronze quatrefoil.
This rare, late 1800s, brass sculpture stand has a multitude of beautiful details and it is in remarkably good condition. The stunning, open design with the intricate Gothic leaf motifs and the quatrefoil on the front are the most prominent Gothic details that make this altar sculpture stand an absolute joy to look at. What makes this particular, Gothic church relic stand out from the few that we have seen before is the Agnus Dei symbol in beautiful cloisonné design and colors. Another eye-catching feature are the stylish ball feet and over the many decades this rare sculpture stand has also grown the most beautiful patina. Besides that, this practical size Gothic stand has been really well looked after and it is now ready to be enjoyed and taken care of by a new custodian.
