An English tôle "Star of India" ship's trunk from the early 20th century, mounted on a custom base. Boasting a nicely weathered original finish, this Star of India ship's trunk, made by Newton Shakespeare and Co., circa 1900, is fitted with brass hardware. Mounted on a custom made base with straight legs connected to one another through an X-form cross stretcher, this trunk on base mixes old and new perfectly. A great addition to any living room!
