    Extremly Rare South American Silver-Mounted Miquelet-Lock Blunderbuss Belt Pistol Late 18th century, Mexican With a roped silver band around the turned and belled muzzle, the forward sections polygonal and inlaid with silver fronds, octagonal breeches with silver foliage on the flats either side, a broad silver band at the rear, foliate engraved tangs, characteristic locks with fluted mount beneath the pan enclosing the steel-spring, full stocks inlaid with silver panels secured by silver pins and pierced and engraved with foliage inhabited by monsters, birds and a pair of rabits, the last forward of the trigger-guards, and studded with further silver pins.
