Pierre Guariche G10 armchairs for Airborne

About the Item

Pair of armchairs model G10 by Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) for the publisher Airborne in the 1950s. Complete restoration by our upholsterer partner, a specialist in 20th-century furniture in Lyon: HR 35 foam, thick wadding. High-quality cotton/linen fabric by French brand Casamance in a storm-green color, inspired by the elegant pattern and texture of tweed, the textile features small chevrons. Removable and washable. Please refer to fabric data sheet for care instructions. Cushion underside protection in thick cotton/linen fabric and cognac leather. Beautifully finished stitching. Brass hardware. Black lacquered tubular steel frame with "Jack-pot" springs similar to the "Free-span" system. Excellent condition. Faded Airborne sticker present on spring plates , spectrum is visible.
