18th Century Dutch Marquetry Corner Armchair

About the Item

An 18th century, Dutch mahogany and marquetry corner chair. The shaped top rail supported by baluster turned supports, with a lovely elaborate marquetry seat raised on three turned baluster legs and a splayed back leg. This corner chair has been crafted from mahogany with floral marquetry inlaid decoration and are typical of the very best period Dutch marquetry furniture. Circa 1780. Exceptional quality and beautiful warm patina. The dimensions are: Height: 74cm (29.1in) Width: 82cm (32.3in) Depth: 62cm (24.4in) This 18th century Dutch marquetry corner chair is in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. The corner chair remain in good, original and clean condition. The antique mahogany marquetry chair remains structurally sound. Overall, a good example.
