Welsh Period Oak Corner Chair

About the Item

Such a handsome chair. Very early corner chair, with a drop-in seat, easy to reupholster. Corner chairs like this one are so good as a desk chair, as it is possible to get right in under the writing surface of your desk, and the arms make it very comfortable for sitting, and leaning back, too. And this chair with its wonderful lines, makes a beautiful Silhouette. Fine Chippendale-style carving, of the period. Good sitting height.
