Set or Pair of Italian Neoclassical Directoire Fruitwood Klismos Side Chairs
About the Item
In leopard or cheetah velvet. Both in hand carved and peg constructed. Directoire frames and of slight Klismos form. Pretty well untouched (other than new leopard velvet seat covering), no later screws or glue blocks and still all four are sturdy.
Very warm rich color and patina. Last photos show hand saw marks and pegged joints.
Provincial in fruitwood.
