Rare Pair of 19th Century Fruitwood Side Cabinets
About the Item
A very rare pair of finely hand carved 19th Century fruitwood side cabinets. The moulded top with carved gadrooned edge raised over frieze with centred scrolling foliate flanked with carved decoration, supported above two panelled cupboard doors, stunningly carved with radiating reeded motif and a centred flower head carved in high relief, the doors open to reveal shelved interior and are flanked with two reeded columns with foliate motif supported above apron, again with centred scrolling foliate and flower head motif detail, terminating on lion paw foot.
