English Regency Mahogany, Ebony & Ebonized Seddon Saber Leg Sideboard, 19th C

About the Item

This Sophisticated English Regency Saber Leg Mahogany, Ebony & Ebonized Seddon Sideboard / Console Table was made in the early Nineteenth Century in England. The Regency Saber Leg Sideboard has a beautiful figured veneered mahogany top with a serving height of thirty six and a half inches high with a solid mahogany backsplash. There are two drawers in the frieze that have a crossband and Ebony molding surround that frames the solid mahogany drawer front with a key to access each drawer. The two sides match the drawers.. The Regency Saber Leg Console Table is supported by four Regal Solid Mahogany Saber Legs with Ebonized Carved Reeds, Circle, and Commas. The height and scale of this Regency Saber Leg Seddon Sideboard / Console Table make it perfect for a Grand Foyer or a Sophisticated Dinning Room.

    Additions or alterations made to the original: The finish has been repolished and the craving on the side of the legs reebonized. There is a minor veneer triangle repair to the top left side corner that is not noticeable. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading.
