Large 1950s Elm and Birch Swedish Sideboard Credenza with Keys
Located in Leicester, GB
A beautiful 1950s Art Deco sideboard by Carlsson & Reicke, Stockholm. This sideboard has three tall doors in a beautiful honey coloured, book matched elm wood. The interior is a lovely contrasting pale birch wood with two shelved areas to the left and shelves with three drawers above to the right. The drawers are in great condition with a beautiful flickering grain across the fronts. Simple tapered legs. 3 simple silver keys with bakelite key holes.
There are a few marks throughout and a small dent on top and one in the right door, but nothing that detracts from the piece. The middle lock is slightly temperamental, it could be left unlocked as the door stays shut nicely.
A great Swedish midcentury sideboard.

By Lukas Dahlén
Located in Visby, SE
Weave 133 Smoked Oak
Credenza made of solid oak wood and birchveneér. Modern yet Classic, bold yet modest the cabinet serves as a great example of Scandinavian contemporary design. Designed by Lukas Dahlén.
The minimal yet expressive sideboard weave is made of solid birchwood and birchveneér. Inspired by the most common kind of wood and weed weaving the Weave sideboard represents an enlarged version of the technique of weaving something soft around a more stabile structure. The top and bottom plane of the cabinet is held together by sticks kept together like a Windsor chair. Since first shown in Milan 2012, salone satellite, it has received a lot of attention worldwide.
The Weave credenza...
