Fine Federal Period Sheraton Mahogany Card or Gaming Table circa 1800

About the Item

A fine example of a Federal Period, Sheraton mahogany card or gaming table with turret corners, checkered inlay around the folding top edge, a shaped frieze with an oval patera, all supported by nicely turned round tapered legs. Dates to circa 1790-1820 in very good condition with great patina, minimal surface stains, minor repairs & restorations, imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use. The original hinges were removed at some point. Dimensions: Closed: 29.38 in H x 36.13 in W x 17.5 in D. Open: 28.75 in H x 36.13 in W x 35.25 in D. Ref: 715
