About the Item
"This is the ultimate table for playing Mahjong. The sunken playing area makes it so you never have to deal with tiles falling to the floor. There is a beautiful, soft felt for a nice glide of the tiles and a pleasing sound when shuffling. The corners of the sand casted bronze border are rounded so that tiles will move freely and not get stuck. The overall design is calming and smooth with a rounded base and soft tones. This gives it a gentle, feminine feel. However, it is made of solid bronze and concrete which has a masculine effect. Our hope with this table is to create an everlasting heirloom for your family to enjoy for generations to come." - JDW
The newest addition to the James de Wulf gaming collection. Meeting the growing demand for four-player game tables, the Mahjong table serves players of cards and board game aficionados. The table is constructed of a solid concrete top and base. The top is decorated and strengthened with a double bronze perimeter and play area surround. Table center is covered in a rich, mint velvet.

James de Wulf established De Wulf Concrete in 2004 as a boutique design firm that specialized in creating avant-garde, concrete-couture for a variety of architects, interior decorators, commercial retail outlets, and residential clients. De Wulf has been widely recognized for his original and innovative work with concrete design and rapidly became know for his ability to fuse advanced concrete technology with aesthetic, modern, and natural concrete forms to constitute functional art. In additional to his original work, De Wulf's cutting edge designs have evolved into a full scale product line available at choice retail outlets. His creative efforts have brought forth a wide range of cutting edge sinks, tables, outdoor pieces, and countertops.
