Inspired by the layers of the earth, the made-to-order drum is solid and cast from hand-dyed black silica, crushed glass, powdered glass, crystal quartz and sand. Packed in layers, the raw edges are hand-carved in natural undulations to create an effect evocative of sedimentary rock and soil.
