Peculiar French book table, by Paul Sormani (1817-1877). Signed Paul Somani, 10 Charlot, Paris. Made of rosewood veneered wood. Octagonal shaped lid. Fruit wood fillets. Two revolving shelves with turned bar rails, with gilt details. Succession Juan Bautista PEÑA. Purchased at the auction house J.C. Naon & Co. S.A. Buenos Aires, Argentina. France, CIRCA 1970.
