17th-18th Century Venetian Painting

About the Item

Venetian School painting of four angels, allegorically depicting the variable winds of change and time. Unsigned, believed to be by a follower of Pietro Liberi (1605-1687), an Italian baroque painter active mainly in Venice and the Veneto, and the first president of the Academy of Painters of Venice. Antique giltwood frame.
