Set of Four Original Signed Op Art Pop Art Graphic Screen Prints Bullseye 1970s

About the Item

A set of four original Pop Art serigraph (screen) prints by Australian artist Catherine Ford, signed and dated 1974. These can be hung in a pattern or any arrangement but we've shown them as they were intended, a bulls eye with a breakaway section. They fall into both the category of Op Art and Pop Art, with strong optical and graphic design qualities. The optical factor is enhanced by the low sheen mirror finish of the central stamping foil applique in each section of the print. Note that the dimensions given (62 x 78 x 1.5 cm) are for the prints together, side by side in the same arrangement as shown. Individual dimensions of each framed print are 30cm wide, 38cm tall and hangs 1cm deep to the wall. The four prints are presented in their original perspex borderless clip frames. There are slight print flaws and some speckling of the foil. There is slight, even, unobtrusive aging and browning to the paper, yet no fading of the print, which makes this set very appealing because it is so obviously a 1970s production and in very good preservation. Some minor scratches and scuffs to the perspex surface may create a few shadows under strong light. See images for example. Not obtrusive.
