One of a Kind Tom Castor Collection Piece from his Moth Cuff Series.
Fewer than 5 Tom Castor Moth Cuffs have been made. Each is an entirely different piece of Fine Jewelry Art.
Jeweled Cuff Bracelet in Solid Sterling Silver and Solid 18 Karat Yellow Gold.
This large Cuff Bracelet and Curio Showpiece will be the talk and attention of any gathering. Crafted entirely by hand, the large Cuff bracelet is constructed in hand forged Solid Sterling Silver and Solid 18K Yellow Gold. Adorning the Bracelet are over 25 Carats of bezel set Natural Gemstones in multiple shapes and hues of Pink and Green. The Gems include four High Dome Cabochon Brazilian Green Tourmaline, one Oval High Dome Natural Cat's Eye Green Tourmaline, two Round Brilliant Cut Pink Tourmaline, one Oval Natural Cat's Eye Pink Quartz, one Brilliant Burmese Peridot and one Round Cabochon Watermelon Tricolor Tourmaline. Each Gem was hand chosen for this particular Cuff.
Atop the Bracelet on various angles are Solid 18K Yellow Gold Life size Moths, four total, each with extensive Hand Detail. The Bracelet has a heavy but wearable weight of 170 grams. This is the total weight of the piece, including Precious Metals and Gemstones. The Gold weight of the Cuff is a substantial 46+ grams of 18 Karat Yellow Gold. The Sterling Silver is Hand Forged, Hand Hammered, and Finished to a High Polish.
The interior of the Cuff Bracelet features an 18 Karat Yellow Gold Hallmark Button stamped with Tom Castor Hallmark, 18K and Sterling.
The Cuff is a fixed fit and is not hinged, but is carefully adjustable to open or tighten the 1.5" opening for the wrist or arm.
The front of the Cuff measures a full 3" in height.
The back of the Cuff, at the opening, measures 2.5" in height.
the inside oval circumference of the Cuff measures 10" at the highest part of the cuff dome.
