About the Item
Antique brooch of a horse and jockey. Well made by the English firm A&W (best know for equestrian motif enamel jewelry), this antique piece is enameled with fine detail on all sides. This piece which is 1.25 inches in length is in fine condition but has a replacement pin stem in silver which we have chosen to leave on the piece and not replaced. This antique object can be a smart addition to a sweater or jacket and he sits perfectly on a desk! Hallmarked A&W (Alabaster & Wilson). Circa 1890
