Antique Rose Diamond Fox Face Brooch, circa 1860

About the Item

Antique rose cut diamond brooch of a fox head. A fox for all Seasons! Nearly 80 rose cut diamonds (about 1 ct.), a pair of small cabochon Burma rubies and both silver and gold (on the back) are employed to create a tour de force of personality and panache in this three-dimensional form of a fox for all seasons. Likely created 160 years ago (circa 1860), he is just a pleasure to the eyes! Our charming fox measures 1 1/6th inches across, 5/8th inches vertically and he weighs 10.10 grams. Glistening on a navy blazer and listening with his perked ears to your colleagues, you may choose to confer with this wise old fellow later in your busy day! All items sold are accompanied by a detailed appraisal by our gemologist, as well as all original GIA certificates, if specified in listing. As always, we guarantee all of pieces. Each piece of jewelry arrives in a finely gift-wrapped presentation box.
