About the Item
Victorian Carved Quartz and Diamond Leaf Brooch/Pendant from the mid 19th Century. Exceptional quality manufacture with high quality mine cut diamonds which are used as accents with hand carved smokey topaz or quartz frosted leaves. Lapidary work of this quality is very skilled. This the work of a skilled jeweler.
Center stone is .25 carats. Approx .75 carats of diamonds total. Black enamel stem with retractable bale for a pendant, 14k gold. Likely of American manufacture circa 1860.
