Victorian Rose Cut Diamond + Ruby Cat and Wishbone Pin
About the Item
A lovely pin from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 15kt yellow gold and topped in sterling silver, this beautiful 3-dimensional pin depicts a playful diamond kitten sitting atop a wishbone. The sweet kitten has delicate ruby eyes, pointed ears, delicate paws, etched fur detail, and a curling tail as it balances, ready to pounce. The wishbone is encrusted with graduated Rose Cut diamonds, its tip displaying the pin’s luxurious gold. The piece secures to a favorite outfit with its hinged pin and lever-secured c clasp. Perfect for a feline lover or someone looking to carry luck with them, this pin would be a wonderful addition to any Victorian collection!
The pin measures approximately 3/4” tall, 1 3/8” wide, and about 5/8” deep excluding the pin mechanism.
