Douglas Gorsline-Kunst
Amerikanisch, 1913-1985
Douglas W. Gorsline, ein Buchillustrator, Maler und Autor, starb an einem Schlaganfall am 26. Juni in Dijon, Frankreich. Er war 72 Jahre alt und lebte seit 15 Jahren in Frankreich.
Mr. Gorsline war vor allem für seine Illustrationen bekannt. Er schrieb und illustrierte "Farm Boy", das 1950 veröffentlicht wurde. Er hat 1955 die Illustrationen für "The French Broad" in der Reihe "Rivers of America" angefertigt.bis
