Isabel Bishop (3. März 1902 - 19. Februar 1988) war eine amerikanische Malerin und Grafikerin. Bishop studierte bei Kenneth Hayes Miller an der Art Students League of New York, wo sie später auch als Dozentin tätig war. Als Mitglied der lose definierten "Fourteenth Street School", einer Gruppe von Künstlern in Manhattan, war sie vor allem für ihre Szenen des Alltagslebens in diesem Viertel bekannt. Der Union Square steht im Mittelpunkt ihres Werks, das hauptsächlich weibliche Figuren zeigt. Die Gemälde von Bishop wurden unter anderem mit dem American Academy of Arts and Letters Award ausgezeichnet.bis
