Antonietta De Marchi è nata e vive a Roma. Sie studierte an der Accademia di Arti Orafe di Roma und anschließend an der RUFA (Universität der Schönen Künste in Rom), wo sie sich auf Bildhauerei und Installationen spezialisierte. Dal 2012 ha deciso di rendere il suo lavoro disponibile all'Ufficio Liturgico Vaticano. Zu den zahlreichen Werken gehört auch das für Papst Franziskus angefertigte Anello "Piscatorio", das heute im Tesoro della Cappella Sistina aufbewahrt wird.
