A residential renovation by Luis Fernandez of @LUISFERN5 in Sag Harbor, NY; a beachhouse for a Brooklyn family, (Fashion Executive and Tech Entrepreneur) and their teenage twin boys. The project honors the house’s hamptons cottage aesthetic with a modernist take on a beachy and soothing aesthetic; elevated with sculptural elements, natural materials and vintage furnishings and lighting fixtures, providing an oasis of calm from the city’s daily routine. The client’s brief was simple: soothing, calming, and functional but with a polished vibe and a modern feel. The project consisted of a gut renovation reconfiguring the interiors and exterior.
