Outside São José dos Campos, this standalone residence is conceived as a family retreat, shaped by the legacy of Brazilian modernism and its dialogue with Europe.

The project draws from a moment when Brazilian designers influenced cities abroad, while figures like Oscar Niemeyer redefined architecture at home. That balance between monumentality and warmth informs the design, where strong forms are paired with natural materials and light.

The home is organized around indoor-outdoor living. Spaces open to the surrounding landscape, encouraging a slower rhythm centered on gathering and time together.

Interiors use rich tones and layered textures to bring depth and warmth, balancing the scale of the architecture with a more intimate, lived-in feel.

The result is a home designed for family life, grounded, open, and connected to its surroundings.
