Gorgeous Restored Condition - Pleasing Design - 1 Year Warranty
Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored 1961 Omega Seamaster with original Omega beads of rice bracelet.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 562 movement, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and swan's neck fine regulations - it is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It is full size for the era - 35mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust. Its case shape is our favorite classic Omega styles from the era, and it has the look of a solid gold Seamaster for a fraction of the price.
It has fully Omega parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. The watch itself presents in beautiful condition.
Its case, with shapely lugs, presents in excellent condition with a few areas of natural aging underneath the lugs. It has no gold wearthrough and presents on the wrist as gorgeous mint.
Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. It's accompanied by its original, unrestored 18K gold plated Omega beads of rice bracelet.
As part of the restoration, it has just fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. Its movement is very clean. We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping accurate time.
For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

Es ist ein berühmter Teil der Omega Überlieferungen, dass die Speedmaster Professional Chronograph der Marke die erste Uhr war, die auf dem Mond gelandet ist. Aber die universelle Liebe für Vintage-Omega-Uhren ist nicht auf Astronomen beschränkt, und es gibt mehr zum Erbe des Unternehmens als die Geschichte der Moonwatch.
Die Ursprünge des Hauses gehen auf das Jahr 1848 zurück, als der Schweizer Uhrmacher Louis Brandt sein Geschäft eröffnete. Nach seinem Tod übernahmen seine Söhne Louis-Paul und César die Leitung, und 1894 entwickelten die beiden eine faszinierende neue Bewegung.

Im Jahr 1917 ernannte das britische Royal Flying Corps Omega zum offiziellen Lieferanten, und während des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde Omega zum wichtigsten Uhrenlieferanten für die britischen Streitkräfte und ihre Verbündeten. Diese Aufträge untermauern das Engagement von Omega, die Zuverlässigkeit seiner Produkte auch unter extremen Bedingungen zu gewährleisten. Unter anderem dank ihres robusten Rufs und Omegas Verbindungen zum britischen Militär wurde sie 1995 zu James Bonds bevorzugter Uhr und tauchte in GoldenEye und jedem nachfolgenden Bond-Film auf; 2021 kehrte sie in No Time to Die zurück. Die mit Abstand berühmteste Omega ist jedoch die Speedmaster, die 1957 eingeführt wurde. Als erster Chronograph, der seine Tachymeterskala zur besseren Ablesbarkeit auf der Lünette und nicht auf dem Zifferblatt anzeigt, wurde er schnell von Ingenieuren und Wissenschaftlern angenommen.
Sie wurde 1969 von Buzz Aldrin während der Apollo-11-Mondmission getragen und ist die einzige Uhr, die von der NASA für Weltraumspaziergänge zertifiziert wurde - und, soweit wir wissen, auch die einzige, die von der russischen Raumfahrtbehörde zugelassen wurde.
