The Dutch Jeweller Bonebakker has enjoyed a long and illustrious history since its foundation in 1792. Bonebakker was commissioned to create the Royal Crown of Holland for the Prince of Orange (1840) and the Silver Keys to the city of Amsterdam (1806). Today antique pieces by Bonebakker can be found in the permanent collections of the Amsterdam Museum and the Rijksmuseum in Holland.

While roots remain imbedded deep in the age-old tradition of selling diamonds and manufacturing high jewellery, world renowned brands like Boucheron and Buccellati as well as haute couture pieces from upcoming designers Messika, Pasquale Bruni, Ole Lynggaard and the magnificent Jewellery Theatre are also part of the collection of Holland’s oldest and most respected jewellery house.

Sunflowers pendant inspired by the great Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. The Sunflowers pendant has citrine, tourmaline, tsavorite, sapphires & diamonds. It is made of 18kt yellow gold in an open design that enhances the lustre of the yellow, orange, green and blue gemstones, matching Van Gogh's sublime exercise of colour. For Vincent Van Gogh, sunflowers represented gratitude, and it is with gratitude that we made this unique piece.

The Key of Amsterdam Collection is based on the city keys of Amsterdam and were designed and created in 1806 by Adrianus Bonebakker, founder of the oldest jewellery house of the Netherlands. They keys were handed to Napoleon in 1806 and later in 1813 to King William I during his inauguration as the first king of the independent Kingdom of the Netherlands. The original set of keys is exhibited in the Amsterdam Museum.
