This lithograph “Eight Views of Paris – Notre-Dame seen from Quai d'Austerlitz” is signed by Henri Rivière and bears a red stamped mark in the lower right corner. The artwork is authentic and original.
As for its condition, please note a tear on the right margin (0.5 cm) and small ones along the bottom edge, ink marks, slight fold marks, and small stains.
On the lithograph itself, there are some small stains in places.
The lithograph retains very fresh colors, and once framed, most of the imperfections will be barely noticeable.

Henri Rivière (1864–1951) was a French painter, printmaker, and illustrator. He began his career with drawing, then moved on to intaglio printmaking, especially etching, in 1882. At the same time, he started working as a stage director and set designer in 1886 for the shadow theatre at the cabaret Le Chat Noir, where he innovated with colored scenery. He later devoted himself exclusively to painting and printmaking, becoming a significant figure in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography, and watercolor (he created about a thousand watercolors).
