Magic Red I
Red has always been a magical color in our life. It's a color to correlate with emotion because its on both end of the spectrum.
One one end you have happiness, falling in love, infatuation with someone, passion, all that.
On the other end, you've got obsession, jealousy, danger, fear, anger & frustration.
In the art above art, as you can see the red as the most beautiful magic , overwhelmed by blue, green and black.
The red gathers the beauty....is truly in the eyes of the beholder.....

My name is Shalini Maniam(Artsoulshalini). I've lived and worked in Malaysia all my life, I am a former banker who worked for 12 years and I am largely a self-taught artist over my career for 23 years. The interest in art was cultivated during my teenage years and further developed into a professional career.With my life experience path includes my dad demise impacted my mental health, went extreme depression I come out kind of emotional art work but in reversed reflection of my feelings .
Well, I am an abstractionist, who has always been fascinated by colors and forms found in our nature and influenced by the passionate personality and innate emotions of my late father’s love. My works have been exhibited in various art galleries and also sold internationally.
My abstract paintings come from my heart, as a form of expressing emotion via visual language, using pure color and expressive marks to connect and communicate with those admiring them. I've been told by my fans that my work emits a special light and magic that is both spiritual and moving.
YOU HAVE TO FEEL IT TO OWN IT…this is my tagline for my art. My paintings are created through intuitive response while engaging with the work. The process is completely organic and spontaneous. What emerges on the canvas is an internal language that is highly emotional and personal, yet at the same time universal. It speaks of places unseen, but at the same time comforting and familiar.
My work is alive with emotions through the movement of finger strokes and the luscious layered colors. My art stirs the soul and connects you not only to the beauty of the human experience, but also to what lies beyond our sight. In creating beauty, my artwork is a window into a place of hope, joy and peace, away from a noisy and imperfect world.
