This homeowner has deep roots in Mexico--- his mother resides there and he greatly anticipates his frequent visits. Black wanted his home to beckon cherished, personal memories of sun-drenched voyages spent soaking up everything Mexico offers. While Spanish design can traditionally be considered quite ornate, Lucinda Loya Interiors approached this project with core design principles– preserving and paying tribute to the inspiration, but allowing for the use of modern, sophisticated lines and clean applications. The dazzling results offer an eclectic mix of antiques, custom furniture, curated artwork, and luxurious textures throughout the home – all of which engage and transport the homeowner and guests to the rich, vibrant, and personally-meaningful setting of Mexico.
