Whimsical Seaside

“A Whimsical place by the seaside” was one of the client’s directives for this home, in Martha’s Vineyard historic Edgartown, a stone’s throw from the inner harbor.

Another directive: “Color, maximalism, balanced, peaceful, sophisticated layers of texture.”

And a last directive: “ Sculptural forms, a cracked glass creation for the wine room, lounge and cocktails areas in need of guests, bespoke items for curiosity and conversation.”

Palette: Vibrant color, layered patterns, high-impact composition of texture and pattern, a variety of emerging artists and a few notable turn of the century and modernist painters, and custom Studio-C New York pieces. A place of escapism, by the sea, for sensory delights outside and in.
