White Box Summer House

This project exemplifies my approach to unremarkable or challenging architecture: identify what good there is, then double down and highlight it. This non-descript 80’s modern clapboard house got a needed dose of glam from hi-gloss lacquered floors, a carefully edited collection of minimal and highly sculptural furnishings, and removing any obstacles to the walls of glass which oriented toward the pool and sprawling back yard.
