This luster takes the form of a goblet, and it is covered in stunning Islamic and Arabic motifs. There's a good chance that the product was made with the Turkish market in mind. It was created in France between the years 1850 and 1920, but the exact year is unknown.
This particular luster has not even the slightest chip or crack in it. Because the artwork is not burned into the glass and some of it has been scratched out through the years, we are unable to come to a consensus regarding how old this item is. The gold and the paintings have both lost some of their color and sparkle as a result of the passage of time.

Storyteller:
Amina loved browsing through antique shops, always on the lookout for unique treasures to add to her collection. One day, she came across a stunning luster goblet with intricate Arabic designs covering it. Amina was immediately drawn to its beauty and knew she had to have it.
As she examined the goblet, she noticed that it was in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks, and the designs seemed to be etched into the glass. She wondered about its age, and after some research, she discovered that it was made in France between 1850 and 1920, most likely for the Turkish market. However, the exact year of its creation remained a mystery.
Excited to show off her new find, Amina invited her friends over for a small gathering. As they admired the goblet's unique decorations and shimmering gold, Amina noticed her friend Ali studying it intently. René Lalique’s name is synonymous with French Art Nouveau decorative arts. Born in 1860 he first began designing fine jewelry in Paris in 1881, but pursuing increasingly more innovative experimentation in glass commencing around 1883, he eventually created crystal pieces. Early works used the familiar "lost wax" technique by which the model is made in wax while a mold is formed around the model. Then, the wax is melted and molten glass is poured into the mold. Lalique glass was made in this manner until approximately 1905 at which time the factory was redesigned for a larger production.
Without the hand-formed pieces and unique molds, the individual uniqueness of each example of Lalique glass came to an end. The success of this venture resulted in the opening of his own glassworks at Combs-la-Ville in 1909. During the art nouveau period, Lalique was well known for a wide variety of objects including perfume bottles, vases, inkwells, decorative boxes, and bookends.
