Very large Japanese bronze 4-tiered trumpet vase with intricate wave design

About the Item

Remarkable and very large bronze 4-tiered trumpet vase intricately designed with a motif of tumultuous waves. It’s crafted to give the impression that the trumpet-shaped chalice, is engulfed by outward expanding layers of waves rising upwards from the sides. It captures the essence of a turbulent sea with splashes, churns, and swirls. Cast in bronze with a deep brown patina with a good aged appeal. Dimensions: Height 14.68 in/37.3 cm, Diameter 17.51 in/44.5 cm, Diameter mouth vase 13.50 in/34.3 cm. Weight 61.72 lb/28.0 kg. When shipped we will add a certificate of authenticity.
