Jean Dunand Dinanderie Vase French Art Deco Rare

About the Item

Dinanderie Vase by French artist Jean Dunand..This is a rare and unusual vase with a combination of abstract floral and geometric images. The multi-layer patina gives this vase a very unique style. There is a variety of textures with tones of gold, brown, and rust. At 14 inches, this is exceptionally tall for a dinanderie piece of this type. The interior shows the original treatment and composition of work with mixed metals. The vase is divided into three main sections, each separated by a silver band. There is a signature of Jean Dunand on the bottom, and this is a wonderful example of the French style of dinanderie high-quality metalwork vases of the mid-1920s
