The Cecil Beaton Diaries - Books.

A beautiful set of six diaries written by Cecil Beaton covering the years 1922-1974. Beaton was a famous English fashion and Portrait Photographer, diarist, interior Designer and Oscar winning Stage/Film Costume and Set Designer. The diaries cover over fifty years in the middle of the twentieth century when his work output was at its peak. His work ranged from photographing for Vogue Magazine to designing Costumes worn by Audrey Hepburn in "My Fair Lady". They are a fascinating read and a great addition to the collection of anyone interested in the Cafe Society of the period.
