Unique Early 19th Century Artists Lay Figure

About the Item

Early 19th century artists lay figure We are proud to offer an early 19th century artists lay figure, whom we have lovingly named Jean Claude. With original painted surface this item is untouched from its original form. Fashioning a wonderfully characteristic moustache, finely hand carved with amazing detail across his slender physique, feet, and hands. Size in inches: H 13” x W 3.5” x D 2” Origin: French Period: circa 1820-1830 Material: Pine Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, with aged repairs across his right wrist resulting in it not being able to be rotate. Aged wood worm remnants across the right rear hip area (this has long gone). With light chips and loss of paint across this items surface. For an item that is over 100 years old please expect natural wear and tear with loss / stiff joints and hairline cracks in areas. Close up photos have been supplied to illustrate these points so please observe carefully.
