About Welch Studio
Welch Studio is an interior and architectural design practice specializing in custom homes for Northern Utah’s mountain and ski resort communities. We not only are avid skiers, but we understand how to design refined, modern private residences and second homes that respond specifically to the landscape, climate, terrain and the rhythms of alpine living (specifically in the Ogden Valley – a notoriously difficult community to build within).
The studio has a goal of modernizing mountain interior design. In recent years, rustic design has stepped far away from the antlers, but cold modernism is cycling out for owners who want the warmth of rustic mountain design back. Think luxury Utah interior design – a touch of high desert Native American influence, a bit of post-modern whimsy, mixed with Scandinavian/pioneer history, and Robert Redford's rustic Sundance mountain resort. Mmm. That’s yummy.
The Wasatch mountains are our passion. Thus we serve clients building and renovating in Eden, Mountain Green, Morgan, Powder Mountain, Park City, and across the Intermountain West.
