Antique Chinese Console Cabinet with Petite Double Doors and Hidden Compartments

About the Item

An antique Chinese wooden console cabinet from the early 20th century, with four doors, inner shelves, removable compartments and carved aprons. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this console cabinet features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above two pairs of petite double doors adorned with recessed panels, opening to reveal inner shelves and hidden compartments each concealed behind a removable panel. These doors are fitted with linear brass hardware. The ensemble, raised on five straight feet with carved aprons in the front, boasts a warm patina. Its clean lines will make this early 20th century Chinese console cabinet an excellent choice to decorate any home, perhaps displayed in a living room, hallway or foyer.
