About the Item
19th century French Louis XV desk ~ Dining table is an exceptionally versatile piece, perfect for the stylish executive or doubles as a dining table for the efficient floor plan! Hand-crafted from solid oak, it features a parquet top with contoured and beveled edge that rests on the elegantly scrolled apron, which is carved with cross-hatching and shell motifs on all four sides. The short sides conceal drawers behind the aprons. Four boldly scrolled cabriole legs provide support, and are carved with large acanthus plume motifs that lead the eye down to the escargot feet.
