Cartier Diamond White Enamel Formal Wear Dress Set Art Deco 1910 Cufflinks Studs

This is an extraordinary museum quality Cartier French Diamond and Enamel Dress Set with Cuff Links, Studs and Buttons in Platinum and 18 Karat Gold and dating to the Art Deco period, Circa 1910, and in the original Cartier Art Deco velvet and silk lined red leather box. The Cartier jewels are made in France and are from the estate of one of America's most prominent families. The dress set is the epitome of Cartier elegance. The exquisite Cufflinks, Studs and Buttons are Platinum atop 18 Karat Gold. Each piece has a halo of brilliant Cartier Old Mine Cut Diamonds surrounding a central checkerboard motif decorated with white enamel. The antique diamonds have the magnificent fire and sparkle of the jewels that we have come to expect from the house of Cartier. The diamonds set in radiant platinum and surrounding the cross hatch interior in white enamel are Art Deco masterpieces. The Cufflinks are signed Cartier, Made In France and numbered 1617. The magnificent Antique Cartier dress set includes Cufflinks, four Buttons and two Studs. The formal wear set is in its original period Cartier Red Leather Box with velvet and silk interior. The silk interior bears the Cartier insignia with London, Paris and New York and their respective addresses. The very rare set dates to the Art Deco period, circa 1910. The set in its completeness and in the original box is exceedingly rare. Cufflinks The cufflink medallions are each 1/2 inch (13mm) in diameter. The cufflinks are signed Cartier, Made In France. Buttons The four buttons are each 1/2 inch (13mm) in diameter. The buttons are numbered 1617. Studs The two studs are each 8mm in diameter.

    Wear consistent with age and use. There is some very minor discoloration of the enamel. This could be easily cleaned if desired. We have left these rare museum quality jewels in their original period condition as we do not believe this detracts from the pieces in anyway.
