This sculptural stone mural features an array of Eocene era fossil fish from the Green River Formation: one Notogoneus osculus, one Diplomystus dentatus, one Cockerellites liops (formerly known as Priscacara), and a few Knightia eocaena. These fossil fish are about 50 million years old and forever preserved in a textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone. The mural measures approximately 3 feet x 4 feet. It is fully backed with wood and it includes a handmade custom Wenge wood frame which compliments the fossil color beautifully.
