Analytics Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on Analytics Manager to drive data-informed decision-making across our luxury e-commerce marketplace. This role combines individual contributor ownership with people management. You’ll partner with Sales and Finance to deliver high-impact insights, build scalable reporting and data models, and guide the work of one analyst. Ideal candidates have strong analytical and communication skills, experience in e-commerce, and familiarity with financial and operational metrics.
What You Will Do
Business Partnership & Insights
- Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
- Analyze trends in marketplace performance, buyer/seller behavior, and financial metrics.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights that inform planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
Individual Contributor Ownership
- Lead end-to-end analytical projects, from data exploration to stakeholder-ready presentations.
- Build dashboards and reports that support operational workflows and business visibility.
- Own key metrics and drive clarity on performance trends.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor an analyst, supporting their technical growth and business impact.
- Help prioritize team workstreams and maintain a high standard of output.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Data Modeling & Infrastructure

- Help design and maintain scalable data models and transformations (e.g., in dbt).
- Collaborate with data engineering to improve pipeline quality and data accessibility.
- Advocate for reliable, well-structured data to support long-term analytics needs.

What You Will Bring
- 5+ years in analytics or data science, including 1-2 years managing or mentoring others.
- Advanced SQL skills; Python or similar scripting experience is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau) and data modeling tools (e.g., dbt).
- Strong understanding of business and financial metrics; FP&A exposure a plus.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or retail analytics preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field.
