Client Solutions Specialist - Design Manager

Design Manager, Inc. specializes in software for interior designers.  We have the experience to deliver the time-saving features that designers need. Design Manager’s cloud-based project management and accounting tools are easy to use for designers, bookkeepers and accountants. Design Manager is based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. 

We are seeking an experienced Client Solutions Specialist who will support our clients once they have joined Design Manager.  You will be responsible for rapidly understanding each client’s business requirements and driving them to realize a fast Time to Value from their investment in Design Manager as efficiently as possible.  In this role, you will work directly with the Director of Customer Experience and their team to deliver software demonstrations, onboarding implementation and advanced accounting support as needed. To be successful in this role you will have complete familiarity with the Design Manager software, have a good knowledge of accounting and love working with clients. 

 

What you’ll do

  • Conducting demonstrations and webinars of software
  • Supporting sales opportunities, acting as primary point of contact to guide our customer during the onboarding process so that customers gain value from the platform as soon as possible.
  • Develop, aid, and monitor the proper implementation plan for new Design Manager users to best fit the client’s business model
  • Design and continually improve processes and materials that enhance efficiency and customer experience during onboarding.
  • Proactive outreach to brand new and top tier customers
  • Assist with client-facing help documentation by creating reusable training videos and other content.
  • Support basic training appointments as needed
  • Deliver advanced accounting support as needed

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field 
  • 2+ years experience in sales/on-boarding or accounting support 
  • Prior experience with accounting application(s) a must
  • Ability to work in a wide range of software programs that support our business 
  • Strong ability to quickly comprehend and explain accounting concepts in simple, effective terms
  • Detail oriented and hardworking
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), problem-solving skills are a must
  • Ability to adapt communication style to a number of different audiences
  • Highly organized, self-starter with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enthusiastic team player with the ability and desire to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently with limited managerial supervision
